Web Site Requirments

The OurVoices.ca website has been tested with Netscape 6 and higher, Mozilla 1.3 or higher, Internet Explorer 5 or higher. It may not work with older versions of these browsers. To view all the content on this site, you will need:

• Adobe Acrobat Reader for viewing PDF files.
• an MP3 streaming audio player to listen to the audio files.
• the Unicode Cree fonts if you want to view the Cree versions of the text.

Storytelling Lessons (K-8)

Karen H. Myran prepared the following lesson plans for Storytelling activities. These lesson plans can be used with the OurVoices.ca Louis Bird stories or any other collection of stories. Karen is an Anishinaabe Ikwe from Long Plain First Nation. She is currently teaching early years at Peguis First Nation.
